Objectives: This study aimed to help practitioners perform an accurate assessment of the external and internal pelvic musculoskeletal (MSK) systems to improve the proper diagnosis and referral of patients with pelvic floor disorders or pelvic pain and to improve understanding of physiotherapy treatment (PT) principles, thereby improving communication between practitioners and encouraging a multidisciplinary approach.Kristi Greene Kelch
Prior to joining Agile, Kristi completed the 18-month Kaiser Permanente Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physiotherapy and Musculoskeletal Primary Care. Currently, she is a faculty member of the Agile Orthopedics Residency as well as the Physical Therapy Graduate Program at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California.About Us
ABOUT USDr. Maryssa Steffen (she/her) is a Bay Area native with over 20 years of experience in somatic and body movement practices including Feldenkrais, Body-Mind Centering, Laban Movement Analysis/Bartenieff Fundamentals, dance/ somatic therapy, and dance improvisation. Dr. Steffen uses movement systems diagnostics and skilled manual therapy to give his clients a fuller sense of body awareness, so they can achieve their goals and embody the dignity, grace and pleasure they deserve.
Dr. Karah Charette (she/her/her) is from Buffalo, NY. A dancer for over 20 years, Karah believes in the power of movement and its connection to human expression and experience. Combined with movement systems analysis and functional training, conscious change can be facilitated in a sustainable, self-directed environment when working with Karah.
